Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls

Did you know that every day you are supposed to have at least half your body weight in grams of protein? Ex - you weigh 160, you need at least 80 grams of protein daily.
Start watching your labels, that is a lot of protein!
Protein is a great way to boost energy and keep you full. It will keep you more full longer than carbohydrates like bread and pasta. Protein is made up of amino acids, which is something your body can't produce itself. That's why it's crucial to get it in every day.
I came up with this recipe last semester at school. I would eat one or two post-workout or just between classes when I was feeling hungry and needed to grab something quick. They are just about 100 calories per piece. Not only do they have a good amount of protein - they taste awesome!

Here's the recipe!
-3/4 cup Reduced Fat Peanut Butter (or regular PB)
    -1/2 cup Oats, plain
-a little less than 1/4 cup honey (I use sugar free)
    -1 scoop chocolate protein powder
Feel free to tweak the measurements to what you like :)
Put them in the fridge immediately - trust me, they are great chilled :)

Don't have protein? Here's my favorite...

My favorite protein powder is by far this one by Optimum Nutrition. It tastes great and doesn't leave a chalky protein powder after-taste. If you click the picture, it will send you to a site where you can look around to buy it.
